THE Industrial Development Authority is embroiled in a new political row after it emerged that it sent pro-Nice Treaty material to schools around the country.

IDA are accused of promoting 'yes' vote

Schools received the authority's annual report, which includes a warning by IDA chief executive Sean Dorgan that a rejection of the Treaty could threaten foreign investment and jobs in the Republic.

The Green Party said it had been contacted by angry school principals over the matter and accused the IDA of abusing public money for propaganda purposes.
