Thirty acts confirmed for free O2 in the Park concert

Organisers of the O2 in the Park gig revealed 30 performers including Charlotte Church, Brit Award winner Lemar, Lee Ryan from boy band Blue and Picturehouse are expected to entertain crowds on Saturday, August 27.

“Thirty acts will perform in the free concert and acts have been announced and there have been changes made all along,” an organiser said.

“It is a free day out and we do have some tickets left to be picked up but they will all be gone by the day.”

Other artists appearing at the event include The Saw Doctors, Tyler James, Hazel Kaneswaren, Tabby Callaghan, Simon Casey, David Hope and G4.

Joining the acts on stage will be presenters Fran Cosgrave, Caroline Morahan and Brain Dowling.

Organisers promised a non-stop music bonanza from 11am, until 7pm.

Some of the 100,000 free tickets are still available from phone company O2’s website at www.O2.ie and RTÉ 2fm.

Organisers have warned admission on the day will be by ticket only.
