In Dublin’s former publisher seeks to stop Revenue move

THE former publisher of In Dublin magazine, Michael Hogan, who is the subject of a Revenue investigation, brought High Court proceedings yesterday to stay an application by the Revenue authorities next Monday to have his former publishing company restored to the Companies’ Register in a bid to recoup €944,573.

Revenue wish to restore the company to the register to enable it recover what they allege is tax due to it.

Mr Hogan’s reason for bringing the application, which will come before the court on Friday, is his claim the Revenue have included confidential documentation for next Monday’s hearing which would disclose comprehensive details of his and his wife’s financial affairs.
