DPP seeks ways to explain his decisions

The DPP, an independent body, has been repeatedly criticised for its policy of not giving reasons to victims why their case will not proceed through the courts.

The State prosecutor has also criticised the way victims of crime are dealt with in the courts, particularly the lack of separate seating areas in the courtroom for victims and alleged wrongdoers.
