GARDAÍ seized hundreds of counterfeit DVDs during the bank holiday weekend, including the film 13 Going On 30 two days before it was released in cinemas.

The latest seizure was made at a car boot sale in Shanagarry GAA pitch in east Cork on Monday.

Gardaí in Cork said they would be stepping up surveillance on car boot sales following the seizure of over €20,000 worth of counterfeit CDs and DVDs.
