Doctor ‘would not take no for an answer’

BEWILDERED and raw with grief, some parents were still clutching their dead children in their arms as doctors swooped to pressure them into surrendering the little bodies.

At their most vulnerable, bereaved mothers and fathers were shown scant sympathy and their babies even less respect.

The anguish felt by parents is laid bare in the Madden Report, which records the despair of unnamed families at the way they were treated by a cold medical machine.
