TROUBLED councillors in a Kerry town have found a new way to get flush when calculating the annual spending budget.

Listowel councillors believe they can dispose of their financial worries by axing a costly public toilet in the town centre.

But elected representatives in the country’s literary capital will be hit with an even bigger bill if they remove the toilet.
