Woman charged with murder

A WOMAN was charged yesterday with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death at a flats complex in Dublin's south inner city.

Ellen Cahill, 35, of 2c Fatima Mansions, accused of murdering fellow Dubliner Joseph Sutcliffe, appeared before Kilmainham District Court.

Mr Sutcliffe was stabbed once at the entrance to the complex last October. An ambulance was called to the scene but the 32-year-old from Drimnagh died a short time after he was admitted to hospital.
