GARDAÍ are investigating claims a house owned by a social and community housing group is being used as a brothel.

Enniscorthy Urban District Council, the social housing group Respond, and gardaí in the Co Wexford town are investigating claims the house, in the Daphnie View area of the town, has been used for prostitution for over a month.

Neighbours in the 300 house estate, which includes sheltered accommodation, as well as local authority and private homes, complained to the gardaí and urban council about an influx of late night callers to the property.
