Time to clean up our act

IN excess of 11,000 tonnes of litter is the target for this year’s National Spring Clean.

Ireland’s largest anti-litter initiative, National Spring Clean has grown rapidly over the past four years, with over 200,000 people already registered for this year’s campaign.

“Litter is a national problem and one that we, as a partnership between local communities, the business community and local and national government have worked hard to address,” said event chairperson Patricia Oliver.
