SENIOR gardaí believe they have severely dented the operations of a drugs gang, which is alleged to be involved in major dealing in the Munster region.

The claim came yesterday after three men were arrested and €120,000 in cash and €40,000 worth of amphetamines were seized in raids in Cork and Kerry.

The raids were carried out by members of the Cork City Garda Divisional Drugs Unit and officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB).
