A PATIENT whose trolley was taken by another after visiting the toilet said he would rather not be breathing the next time he ended up in a hospital’s accident and emergency department.

“I feel safer at home than I did in A&E,” said Paul Byrne, who spent three days in Tallaght Hospital’s A&E department being treated for a heart condition.

The 48-year-old, from Tallaght, who had gone to the hospital’s A&E with chest pains on his doctor’s advice, was in cubicle surrounded by a curtain.
