Promoters MCD still expect the show to be a sell-out and launched a defence against charges that tickets were priced too high at €88.50.

MCD’s Justin Green, who held a joint press conference with gardaí yesterday to announce details of Sunday’s traffic and security operation, warned against buying tickets on the internet.
