‘Victims of State corruption’ to unite

MORE THAN 20 families claiming to be the victims of State negligence or corruption will gather today at the nightclub owned by the McBrearty family in Donegal.

‘Victims of State corruption’ to unite

Frank McBrearty Jnr, who is taking legal action against the State claiming false imprisonment following his arrest on suspicion of murder, says he has received calls from all over the country and believes this will be the beginning of a major movement.

The families meeting today have different stories - relatives who died in car crashes, some players involved in the Morris Tribunal and at least one man who claims to be the victim of a serious miscarriage of justice.
