In a message charged with pathos after her tragic death on Thursday, details emerged yesterday of an e-mail Nicole posted to an au pairs’ website seeking friends in Ireland.

Nicole died on Thursday on Main St, Carrigaline, Co Cork when she was dragged under the wheels of a truck and crushed to death. The pram she was wheeling was caught under a truck leaving the car park adjacent to Supervalu in Carrigaline, but Nicole refused to let go. A witness said Nicole was sucked under the truck, resulting in her own death.
