Man in white van seen at spot where body was found

DAYS before 11-year-old Robert Holohan was abducted, a white van was seen at the spot where his body was found.

The revelation has prompted speculation that Robert’s killer or killers may have carried out a reconnaissance of the secluded road where the boy was dumped after he was strangled.

This suspicious activity at the scene took place over the new year holiday weekend, just a day or two before Robert was abducted 15 miles away at Ballyedmond near Midleton, subsequently murdered and then dumped at the spot where the van was seen.
