Liners evoke bygone era

A LUXURY sailing ship called to Cobh yesterday, rekindling memories of bygone days.

The Sea Cloud II, launched in 2001, eased up the harbour under her 30,000 square feet of sail and docked at the quay side early yesterday with just 96 passengers on board.

She offers deluxe accommodation and its public areas include a lounge, library, fitness centre, boutique, lido bar and hospital.
