Just old wine in new bottles, says opposition
They dismissed the appointment of three new ministers and four new junior ministers as a charade and warned that voters would not be fooled because “this is just old wine in new bottles”.
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the Cabinet reshuffle was borne out of the Coalition’s naked political fear of losing power. “I want to nail the lie that this is a new government - any change is just cosmetic, a cheap veneer,” Mr Kenny told the Dáil.
