MORE disgruntled workers than ever are taking their bosses to task through the Employment Appeals Tribunal which saw its caseload increase by almost 20% last year.

Sackings and terminations of contracts were one of the biggest sources of dissatisfaction, resulting in a 37% increase in the number of claims taken under the Unfair Dismissals Act.

However, there was also a higher number of cases involving employees claiming their employers did not comply with minimum notice legislation or general terms of employment, or left workers short of their redundancy entitlements.
