Best back in hospital with infection

FORMER Manchester United and Northern Ireland football hero George Best was back in hospital yesterday, recovering from an infection following his life-saving liver transplant operation.

Best, 56, was being treated for a complication related to an infection, said a spokesman for the Cromwell Hospital, west London.

His condition was improving and it was expected he would remain at Cromwell Hospital for several days.
