TWO thirds of all parents are satisfied with the age classification of movies by the film censor, John Kelleher.

The results of the first national survey on attitudes to film classification also reveal the majority of adults who disagree with a film’s rating believe the film censor has been too strict, rather than too lenient.

Mr Kelleher said the findings highlighted how the vast majority of parents wanted to play a hands-on role in relation to the films and videos watched by their children.
