Two arrested over arson attack on house

Two men were arrested in early morning raids and were brought to Enniscorthy gardaí station.

Gardaí have been following a definite line of inquiry.

Nobody was in the two-storey home, which is part of a four-house block in the Vinegar Hill area of the town, during the attack. Forensics experts spent much of Monday combing through the remains of the house. It was reported a man was seen in the area around the house just before clouds of smoke began emerging from the building.
