New Shannon routes to give Mid-West tourist boost

Tourism Ireland chief executive Paul O’Toole said it is projecting a 5% increase in visitor numbers from abroad generating 6.5% increase in revenue.

This he said would translate into 50,000 additional foreign tourists coming to the Mid-West spending an extra 20 million in the current year.
