MORE THAN 30,000 Eircom customers can expect refunds after the company yesterday became the latest to join Ireland’s rogues’ gallery of corporate overchargers.

Eircom overcharged customers by €409,000

Eircom admitted overcharging customers by a total of €409,000 for call management services - including voicemail, call answering, diverting, and barring.

Almost 1,000 customers had been overcharged for the past 12 years without noticing.
