Price hikes cost households €1,300 per year, says FG

EVER-INCREASING markups in the retail sector are costing all households over €1,000 annually, according to Fine Gael.

The party analysed figures from the Central Statistics Office and concluded that mark-ups in shops and pubs are costing consumers €1,300m annually.
