Munster fans’ travel club arrangements fully bonded

A LIMERICK businesswoman who has organised flights and accommodation for Munster fans going to tomorrow’s Heineken European Cup match in Treviso, Italy, has dispelled reports that the trip might be up in the air.

Pamela Hickey, who arranges tour packages for Munster’s away matches on behalf of the Munster Sporting Club, last night said there was no legal difficulties with the travel arrangements.

Last week the Commission for Aviation Regulation issued a public notice stating neither Ms Hickey nor the Munster Sporting Club were licensed to act as a travel agent or tour operator. It also warned that anyone conducting such a business without a licence was likely to face a criminal prosecution.
