Man arrested as Gardaí probe Dublin child sex abuse ring

ONE man has been arrested and questioned following an investigation into allegations that a child sex abuse ring was operating in West Dublin.

Gardaí yesterday confirmed that a file on the individual has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions. This is the only file that has been prepared following an investigation which stretches back 18 months.

It is alleged that a number of men and one woman were involved in the ring which operated in the Blanchardstown area in the West of the capital.
