Driver, 34, dies as truck crashes head-on into another

AN HORRIFIC smash involving two articulated lorries claimed the life of a 34-year-old lorry driver yesterday.

The head-on collision happened near Cashel, in Co Tipperary, on the main Dublin-Cork road in the early hours of the morning.

The driver who died was travelling from the Clonmel direction when the collision occurred between his truck and the other vehicle, which was on its way to Cork.
