Nurses take to the picket line over staffing levels and working conditions
The nurses at St Patrick’s Hospital in Waterford have also begun a work-to-rule on all wards in a last-ditch effort to get the South
Eastern Health Board to provide more staff. Work on wards continued as normal over lunchtime yesterday as nurses who were not on duty gathered and protested. All nurses are refusing to answer phones, make beds and carry out other non-nursing duties.
