Poster protest in Waterford

A NUMBER of local politicians running in the imminent elections are unhappy with a request that posters not be erected in Waterford city along the route which will be taken by EU Environment Ministers this weekend.

Independent councillor Mary Roche said: “Having posters up would show that it is an open and democratic election.”
