Abbey Theatre can be our Sydney Opera House, says O’Donoghue
Arts Minister John O’Donoghue believes the setting of the €150 million theatre at George’s Docks on the northern quays of the River Liffey will lend itself to a stunning piece of public architecture.
“I’m particularly excited about the Abbey Theatre site because of its location beside the river. It will lend itself to all sorts of exciting possibilities,” he said.
