LEGAL submissions in the Morris Tribunal, investigating garda corruption claims, will get under way today, Mr Justice Frederick Morris said yesterday.

A late witness may be heard next week and closing presentations from lawyers representing parties caught up in the investigation are expected to be completed early next month. Afterwards, Mr Justice Morris is expected to present an interim report to Justice Minister Michael McDowell, whose decision on a publication date could depend on security-sensitive evidence heard in private.
