Sentence upheld

A GALWAY man whose dangerous driving caused the death of a vet had his two-year suspended sentence upheld by the Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday.

Sentence upheld

David Fox, aged 20, of Station Road, Oranmore, pleaded guilty last November to dangerous driving which caused Dara Halloran’s death.

The DPP had appealed against the leniency of the sentence.
