Public input on legal fees invited, says working group

THE public will be given a chance to say how they believe the massive legal fees preventing many people taking High Court cases should be reduced.

Justice Minister Michael McDowell set up the Legal Costs Working Group last month to review the escalating cost of civil litigation.

The working group is seeking submissions from the public and interested parties, particularly on the cost of civil litigation and how costs are taxed.
