Body of missing vet found on Scottish isle

THE body of a missing Cork vet was discovered on a Scottish island yesterday.

Cornelius Dineen, 34, from Coolea East, near Macroom, had been missing since his blue Volkswagon van was found along the coast in Ballycastle, Co Antrim, last Sunday.

He was discovered dressed in diving gear by a passerby on Machirbay Beach on the island of Islay at 9am yesterday.
