Husky hounds shop robber

A RAIDER armed with a machete fled empty-handed from a shop he was robbing after he was confronted by a family pet.

One bark from the formidable husky dog, ‘Sally’, and the terrified would-be robber turned on his heels.

The robbery was underway at a video shop in Kilfinane, Co Limerick, when the owner’s pet intervened.
