Prisoner escapes in Garda car

A GARDA patrol car was stolen yesterday and crashed in Castleisland, Co Kerry.

The theft happened after a man was arrested following a domestic incident at 3am.

He got into the driver's seat and drove off in the car, which was later found crashed about a mile outside the town. Gardaí were still searching for the man.
