FOR Leaving Certificate students aiming to study science at third level, biology is among their favourite subjects.

Gerard Meates from Dublin’s Synge Street CBS found some of the topics he had studied didn’t come up on the higher level paper but he was optimistic.

“I hope I passed, although I’d say I did well,” he said.
