Sentence appeal

THE Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday imposed a three-year suspended sentence on a Roscommon man who killed two people in a road accident in 2004.

Vincent McCormack, aged 37, from Kye, Elphin, was also fined €8,500 after he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the deaths of two people and to driving with excess alcohol on December 18, 2004.
