Temporary laid-off building staff to return to sites as row continues

BUILDING firms could clash again with workers in Limerick as temporary laid-off staff are expected to return today to some building sites.

The Construction Industry Federation insisted yesterday it was not aware of a call by its mid-west branch for workers to end their wildcat action.

The city's building industry is at a standstill since last week when unofficial protests led to more than 2,000 being laid off.
