Help available if needed, says SHB

BEREAVEMENT counsellors are available, if requested, to offer support to the grandparents who discovered the remains of a newborn baby in their West Cork home.

The Southern Health Board said yesterday specially-trained counsellors are available.

“It’s a confidential support service, available to people who have experienced a tragedy.”
