German boy could face sexual assault charges

A 14-year-old German boy could face charges in relation to an alleged attempted sexual assault on a five-year-old girl.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is examining a file prepared by investigating gardaí.

“We’re awaiting direction from the DPP as to whether we’re going to charge the guy or not,” said a garda source.
