MS under spotlight in first convention for sufferers
Chairman of MS Ireland Alan O’Connor decided to organise next month’s one-day National Convention - MS Uncovered - after attending a convention organised by the British-based Multiple Sclerosis Society in Birmingham last year.
“It was their first ever open day and anyone and everyone with an interest in MS was invited. Of the 2,400 people who attended, 800 were people with MS who had never before made any contact with any support organisation,” he said.
