Seat drives into SUV territory with the new Ateca

VW’s Spanish arm says the new car is a unique combination of distinctive design, dynamic driving fun, urban versatility, and compelling utility. It also promises the Ateca will be a value-for-money product, although we have not yet been given any idea of the pricing structure or when it will land in Ireland.
Seat does say advance sales will begin this spring and that the car will be available in a wide range of variants. The choice of powerful turbocharged TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines spans from 85 kW (115 bhp) to 140 kW (190 bhp), with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, not to mention manual or dual-clutch DSG transmissions.
