Opel Corsa aims to lead way
The company’s bestseller aims to offer a new driving experience in the small-car market segment by raising the bar for chassis, engine and gearbox performance, all of which are lofty ambitions, especially given the brutally competitive nature of the segment.
However, the company maintains that a new, refined and efficient 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo engines, smooth-shifting transmissions, and redesigned suspension and steering will put the Corsa up there with Polo and the Fiesta. Opel says that it will come with a totally new interior, enhanced quality and spaciousness, including Opel’s IntelliLink infotainment technology and ultra-modern driver assistance systems.
