THE Lexus brand has achieved considerable

Certainly in America and the Far East, Lexus has been massively successful, but round these parts its impact has been much more modest.

But that has not stunted their ambition, underlined by the arrival of the new and very ambitious IS300h, the third generation of the company’s compact executive contender. Having ditched conventional petrol and diesel motivation, Lexus is now pegging this car firmly at its rivals from Audi, BMW and Mercedes, but with motivation coming courtesy of full hybrid drive technology.
