Ulster are refusing to rule Will Addison out of Saturday’s Champions Cup clash against Bath even though he left France on crutches last weekend.

Will Addison has moved a step closer to his Test debut by being named in an unfamiliar 26-man Ireland squad to face Italy.

It didn’t take Ulster’s exciting new signing Will Addison long to ingratiate himself into the Irish way of doing things once he was pointed in the direction of Belfast, about 80 miles from Enniskillen, where his mother and close family ties are from.
