Police have said that the British and Australian bosses of two "boiler room" stock trading companies will be charged with violating Thai securities regulations and could face up to five years in jail.
Thai authorities today charged 10 Irishmen suspected of being part of an illegal investment scam that defrauded foreign investors of more than £100m.
Police arrested 81 foreigners - 10 of whom were Irish - in raids on two "boiler room" stock trading companies in Bangkok yesterday and confiscated assets worth an estimated £4m.
