Gardaí have launched an investigation after a dog was hanged from a railing near the entrance to the IDA Ireland building in Cork.

The 13-year-old Jack Russell terrier, who also starred in Water For Elephants, suffered a long battle with prostate cancer and was put to sleep on Friday, August 7.
