A retired medical consultant has settled with Revenue for €1.86m in relation to the under-declaration of income tax after an audit, according to the latest quarterly published settlements.

An IT consultancy firm, an accountant and a medical consultant are among 64 cases worth €10.2m settled with Revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The organiser of the Taste of Dublin food festival — which takes place this weekend at Iveagh Gardens — has been named on the Revenue Commissioners’ latest quarterly defaulters list, in respect of a tax settlement totalling €120,000.
